Harvest Sunday 2025
Harvest Sunday is the largest food collection drive in Kankakee County. As a parish we help many food pantries in our area!
Part 1: November 1-2, 2025 Follow your route and put flyers in doors/on front porches any time of day.
Part 2: November 9, 2025 : Go back to your route and pick up food off porches and bring those items to your assigned drop off location (either MBVM Parish Center, or Bishop McNamara Catholic School Parking Lot). You should finish by 2:00 pm.
- Sign up for a route through the Sign-Up Genius below.
- Pick Up your route packet with directions, map and flyers outside the Parish Offices on Friday or Saturday, October 31st and November 1st.
- Complete the registration form below. Necessary driver forms will be sent directly to each driver in early October.
- OR: Sign up to help in the Parish Center (sorting and organizing; Nov 9th only) below. Must be age 18+, or youth may help only if a parent volunteers as well.
Drivers & Parish Center volunteers (18+): you must have had the Protecting God's Children Class and a background check to volunteer with our youth.
