Turkey overflow!
We’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity of our parishioners in donating turkeys for our food pantry Thanksgiving baskets! Due to the huge response, we're facing a shortage of freezer space at the parish. If you’d still like to donate a frozen turkey, please keep it in your own freezer until you can drop it off at the parish on Wednesday between 3:00-5:30 PM, or Thursday from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Thank you so much for your continued support—together, we’re making a huge difference this Thanksgiving!
Harvest Sunday Blessings!
Thank you to the entire Bourbonnais community for another successful Harvest Sunday! We believe this year’s collection brought in more non-perishable food than ever before, and we are truly grateful. Your generosity will help stock several food pantries throughout our community, supporting our neighbors in their time of need. Whether you attend church here at Maternity or not, your kindness is shining the light of Christ throughout our community during this season. As we enter Thanksgiving, we are keenly aware of how much we have to be thankful for—especially you.
If your Harvest Sunday donation was not picked up from your porch on November 9th, please accept our sincere apology. We are so grateful for your generosity and don’t want your gift to go unused. You are welcome to drop off your non-perishable items inside the front doors of the church—open Monday–Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays during Mass times. You may also drop donations in the bin located outside the parish office doors at any time, day or night, the next time you stop by. Thank you again for your kindness and support of our local food pantries.
