Notre Dame Council 7072 is a brotherhood dedicated to Charity, Church, Community and Family.  Our Council has grown from 44 charter members to the present 150 members.

There are six general groups of activities that we focus on.

Church:  We financially and prayerfully support 2 local seminarians, purchase books for the parish RCIA program, implement the "Keep Christ in Christmas" program, "Keep the Watch" at the Holy Thursday Adoration, and present the "Outstanding Christian Award" to 4 eighth grade students.

Pro-Life: Activities include a memorial for the unborn found in the southwest corner of the church yard, support the pro-life efforts in Kankakee County as well as the annual March for Life by conducting a "Living Rosary",  support and participation in Relay for Life activities, and support the Pro-Life centers in Kankakee and Bradley.

Community: Activities include "Project Re:Cycle (originally Bicycles for the Needy) which we have conducted since 1990, our annual ID "Tootsie Roll" drive with the proceeds going to  the organizations helping individuals with intellectual disabilities in Kankakee County, participation and support at the annual St. Baldrick's fundraiser, and making charitable donations throughout the community.

Family : We host an annual progressive dinner held in our members' homes, support Bishop McNamara Catholic schools, we also have summer picnics, fall hayrides & bonfires and spring family fun nights, help with parish food pantry, and prepare a meal for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Chicago.

Youth:  An important part of our lives and our activities include financial support and participation in both the Jr. and Sr. High youth groups, sponsor a BBYSL team and a pre-junior high running club, conduct a K of C soccer challenge and free throw contest with the winners advancing to State and national contests, and support for the K of C Newman program for college students.

Council Activities:  Included are a pancake breakfast and a chicken wing dinner with proceeds going to a charitable cause.   We financially support and cook for the opening day meal for Camp M*O*S*H (Maternity Outreach Service for Humanity), conduct an annual raffle to support Veterans ad other charitable causes in our area, and assist many individuals and families with charitable gifts both physical and financial.
