Notre Dame Council 7072 is a brotherhood dedicated to Charity, Church, Community and Family.  Our Council has grown from 44 charter members to the present 120 members.

There are six general groups of activities that we focus on.

Church:  we financially and prayerfully support a local seminarian, barbecue the parish picnic dinner, implement the "Keep Christ in Christmas" program, and award "Outstanding Young Christian Award" to 4 eighth grade students.

Pro-Life: activities include a memorial for the unborn found in the southwest corner of the church yard, support the pro-life efforts in Kankakee County as well as the annual March for Life, and support and participation in Relay for Life activities.

Community:activities include monthly Bingo at the Bourbonnais Terrace Nursing Home, started in 1981, "Project Re:Cycle (originally Bicycles for the Needy) which we have conducted since 1990, bingo at the Bourbonnais Friendship Festival, and our annual "Tootsie Roll" drive with the proceeds going to the organizations helping individuals with intellectual disabilities in Kankakee County.

Family : we host an annual progressive dinner, by donating a meal for "20" as part of the Maternity BVM Catholic School Auction.  In additon, we have summer picnics, fall hayrides & bonfires and spring family fun nights.

Youth: an important part of our lives and our activities include financial support and participation in both the Jr. and Sr. High youth groups.  We sponsor a BBYSL team and a Dynamo Soccer team, as well as, conduct a K of C soccer challenge and free throw contest with the winners advancing to State and national contests.

Council Activities:  include two pancake breakfasts with the proceeds going to a charitable cause.  We financially participate in Camp M*O*S*H (Materntiy Outreach for Humanity), cooked a meal at Ronald McDonald House, held a bean bag tournamment and assisted many individuals and families with charitable gifts both physical and financial.
