Sacrament of Reconciliation
The sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered here at MBVM on Sunday, December 11th from 3:00-4:00 p.m. There will be priests from the area to hear individual confessions during that time. You are invited to come and spend as much time as you may need.
To help a family in need during this Advent Season, you can participate in our Giving Tree Program provided by the Outreach Committee here at MBVM. Envelopes re on the tree in the back of church. Please purchase the item on the envelope's front label. You may purchase gift cards through the Scrip Gift card Program (formerly known as Manna). You may also provide a tax deductible check made out to Maternity BVM Assistance Fund and we will gladly purchase your gift card. Please place your envelope in the collection basket at any Mass or return it to the Parish Office by December 16th.
A gently used book collection will take place December 1st - 16th. Books can be dropped off in the back of the church. A former student of Maternity BVM School is mailing these books to Holy Family International School, located in a small village in India, who is in need of books for their library. Please see bulletin insert for more details.
Senior Soup Lunch
Will be held Wednesday, December 7th at 11:30 a.m. in the Maternity BVM parish center.
This is a wonderful time for those who cannot commit to weekly rehearsals, to sing with one of our choirs. Here at Maternity, we have a place in our music ministry for everyone! Find the group that meets your needs and talents. Rehearsals for Christmas choirs are only 1 month. Click here form more information.
We are now providing our parishioners with a more convenient way to make your donations. Instead of writing a check and bringing an envelope to Mass each week, you can easily create your donation account online and make changes at anytime. Click on the "Give Online with WeShare" button and follow the prompts. Please note that if you currently give through the weekly envelopes, we will stop the weekly envelope delivery automatically. In addition, if you are part of our ACH (automatic deposit) program, you should call the parish office to find out how to stop the ACH before starting with online giving.
